Tata Motors on the way to launching Electric Vehicles in UK and Scandinavia

Tata Motors has said it will first launch the Indica and Ace Electric Vehicles in the UK and Scandinavia later in September-October 2010. The decision has been prompted by the UK government incentives to provide grants for alternative fuel vehicles. The home market, India, has too little infrastructure such as charging stations to launch in the near future.

The company is also developing as series of hybrid drives for the luxury Jaguar and LandRover brands.
